The Baddest Little Scale House in Georgia

Georgia scale house I-95 Southbound @ Georgia, South Carolina state line.

Tough, tough, tough!

To bypass the Georgia scales:

Heading South on I-95 in South Carolina, exit off at the Hardeeville exit #5, cross back over I-95. You will be headed south on highway 17 which is a 4 lane highway ( Watch your speed ) about 3 to 4 miles the 4th lane will split, stay to the left and the 4th lane will turn into a 2 lane highway. Continue on the 2 lane, and you will go over a tall bridge crossing the river and the Savannah port. After crossing the bridge you will see I-16, head East on I-16 and follow to I-95 south, it will be a right exit off of I-16. This is a great alternate route with no stop lights, and it is only 5 to 6 miles out of route to bypass the Ga. scales. This is a legal by-pass route!

There is a little scale house in Georgia where they are so strict they won't even let dust blow through. It is good to see someone that wants to do the best job they can possibly do but in this case you better not give him any work. He takes no prisoners, doesn't cut any slack and if he does an inspection on your truck, well, you’re a sitting duck.
